Learn Storyboard Pro like a Professional

Learn Storyboard Pro like a Professional

What is an Animatic? An animatic is usually what you see online when storyboard artists post their best sequences online. They are timed out so they appear to be moving, and fully posed with sounds, music, and dialogue. Essentially that’s what an “animatic” is! What you might not know is that it is entirely possible to build an animatic in Storyboard Pro--and that is what this course sets out to do. You will learn everything from how to draw in Storyboard Pro to learning how to use the 3D camera to input 3D elements into your Storyboards!

Over the course of these 8 weeks, we will be taking one script and building it into an animatic based on an actual production schedule. This will give you the most similar experience to working for an actual studio in a class setting. Whether you are interested in learning advanced skills in Storyboard Pro to create your own projects, or to apply to work for studios, all the skills that you learn in this course will help you with either goal.

Special Discount on Storyboard Pro

As of Fall Term 2023, CGMA students can access educational licenses for Storyboard Pro at a discounted rate of $10.25/month! This rate may only be unlocked inside the virtual classroom, and licenses will remain active for the course duration. Should you have questions regarding this please reach out to registration@cgmasteracademy.com.
