This introductory class on environments and backgrounds will cover topics on architecture, composition, and applying perspective through the mileage of sketching. This class will be utilizing both traditional and digital techniques to help capture the range of environment subjects.

Students will learn how to find the abstract composition from references using limited values. They'll also learn how to simplify comlex subjects and efficiently block in their sketches in their sketchbook or digital media
Overview on ancient architecture and learning to draw large basic forms in vast landscapes. Students will learn to sketch with a limited pallette and how to capture lighting.
