Explore the Relationship of Style...

Explore the Relationship of Style...
This mentorship will explore the relationship of style to industries including but not limited to animation, children’s books, comics, apparel design and selling one’s own work independently. While the principles of drawing, painting and design are always needed, they are not needed by every industry in exactly the same way. This class will help artists better understand those needs by working through style-specific projects which in turn will help them understand their own. Concept and idea will be also be emphasized as concept is the foundation to any style. By the end of the mentorship students will have developed two original illustrations based on different styles as well as a workflow by which they can continue to explore many more.
